Crash now

Who can do this: owners and managers. Bartenders can start a simple crash from the till.

Start a crash

1. Open Drinks.
2. Click ⚡ in the row of a drink. For several drinks, tick them and click ⚡ Crash selection.
3. The crash panel opens with Now selected. Check:
   • Drinks: add more with + Add drink.
   • Name (optional): shown on the board, e.g. Happy hour.
   • Duration: 5, 10, 15 or 30 minutes, or other.
   • Crash price: Minimum price, % off the current price or Fixed price. The table below shows each drink’s price Now and its Crash price.
4. Optional: open Presentation and sponsor. See Crashes on the screens and Templates and sponsors.
5. Click ⚡ Start crash now.

The message Crash started – ends at … confirms it. The board shows the crash at once.

End a crash early

• In the strip TODAY at the top of Drinks, click End next to the crash, or
• click ■ in the row of a crashing drink.

If something goes wrong

What you see	What to do
A crash is only possible while the market is open	Open the market first.
The panel warns that a drink is already crashing	That drink is left out. If all drinks are already crashing, the crash is refused.
⚡ is greyed out	The drink is switched off, or your role may not start crashes.
