Price band

Every drink has three prices. The market moves the price between them, never outside.

Price What it means
Min (floor) The lowest price. A crash usually drops the drink to exactly this price. Choose a price you still earn money with.
Base The normal price. Prices start here when the market opens, are pulled back towards it, and return to it when the market closes.
Max The highest price. Even the most popular drink stops here.

The rule is: minimum ≤ base ≤ maximum, all greater than 0.

A good start for most drinks:

  • Base = your menu price.
  • Min = about 20 to 30 % below base.
  • Max = about 20 to 30 % above base.

A narrow band (e.g. ±10 %) keeps prices calm. A wide band gives bigger moves and more exciting crashes.

Set per drink. It multiplies the effect of sales on the price:

  • 0.5 calm, e.g. soft drinks.
  • 1 normal.
  • 1.5 lively, e.g. cocktails or shots.

Displayed and charged prices are rounded to a step, for example 0.50. A price then moves 14.00 → 14.50 → 15.00. The step is set for the whole outlet under Settings → Market rules → Rounding step.

Inside, Crash Hour keeps the exact price. Small moves add up, even when the rounded price doesn’t change every time.
