Import and export drinks

With a spreadsheet you can set up a whole menu in minutes, or change all prices at once.

Who can do this: owners and managers.

A CSV file with these columns:

name;category;base_price;min_price;max_price;sensitivity;auto_crash;active;image
  • Required: name, base_price, min_price, max_price. All others may stay empty.
  • Comma or semicolon as separator, decimal point or comma: both are detected. Excel files saved as CSV work.
  • image: the name of a built-in picture (the import page lists them). Empty keeps the drink’s picture, none removes it. Drinks without a picture get one that fits their name or category.

Download a ready template on the import page (download template), or export your current list and edit it.

  1. Open Drinks and click Import CSV.
  2. Choose the file and click Check file.
  3. The preview marks every row as new, changed (with the old value), unchanged or with errors.
  4. Choose:
    • Only add new drinks, or
    • Add new drinks and update existing ones. Drinks are matched by name.
  5. Click Import.

Rows with errors are skipped. Fix them in the file and import again; nothing else changes.

⋯ → Export CSV on the drinks page downloads all drinks in the same format. The decimal sign follows your outlet’s country.
