Open and close the market
The market decides whether prices move. Open it when the night starts, close it at the end.
Who can do this: owners and managers.
Open the market
Section titled “Open the market”At the top of the back office, click the switch Market closed. It changes to Market open. Prices start at their base price and begin to move with the first sales.
Owners can also open and close each outlet from the outlet overview (All outlets).
Close the market
Section titled “Close the market”Click Market open and confirm Close the market? All prices go back to base price.
When the market closes:
- every price goes back to its base price,
- running crashes end,
- the board keeps showing the drinks at base price.
What works while the market is closed
Section titled “What works while the market is closed”- The till keeps working. Drinks are sold at their base price.
- Crashes can’t start. A planned crash is skipped, unless it was set to open the market. See Plan a crash.
- Automatic crashes wait until the market opens again.
