Plan a crash

A planned crash starts by itself at the time you set. Good for a crash at the same moment as a show, the end of a match or a happy hour.

Who can do this: owners and managers.

Plan a crash

1. Open Drinks. Either:
   • tab Crashes → Plan crash, or
   • in a drink’s row ⋯ → Plan crash.
2. In the crash panel choose Once.
3. Choose the drinks, the Start (date and time in your outlet’s time), the duration and the crash price.
4. Optional: If the market is closed then, open it. Otherwise a crash that falls into a closed market is skipped and noted in the audit log.
5. Optional under Presentation and sponsor: Announce ahead (planned crashes) 1, 5, 10 or 15 minutes. The board then counts down to the crash in the banner and as a slide.
6. Click Plan crash.

The message Crash planned for … confirms it. The crash appears under Next 7 days and on the timeline.

Move or cancel

In the tab Crashes under Next 7 days:

• Move: change the start or the length, then Save.
• Cancel: removes this crash.

Tonight’s planned crashes are also in the strip TODAY, with Cancel.

Good to know

• The start must be in the future, at most one year ahead.
• If the crash time passes while the system is unavailable, the crash is skipped rather than started late.
• What happened to each planned crash (started, skipped) is in the audit log under Settings → Security.
